Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for processing a communication service under a public account. The method comprises: a first mobile terminal displaying a menu for prompting the setting of a public account priority level to a user, and adjusting the public account priority level according to an user operation, wherein the first mobile terminal and at least one second mobile terminal commonly use the public account; and when the first mobile terminal receiving a communication service under the public account and it is determined that the public account priority level meets a priority level condition for processing the communication service, processing the received communication service. By adopting the present invention, a problem can be solved in which when multiple mobile terminals log in to a public account, all the terminals logging into the public account receive a communication service sent to the account, and if a user processes the received communication service through one or several terminals, the complexity of the process is high and the efficiency is low.
