PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball joint having a clip of a novel shape thereby capable of surely preventing grease leakage from between one end of a boot and a housing.SOLUTION: A ball joint includes a ball stud, a cylindrical housing holding the ball stud, a cylindrical boot, and a helical clip 13 outwardly fitted to the lower end of the boot, fastening the lower end in a diameter reducing direction, and fixing the same to the housing. A large diameter part 25 having a first arc region 26 having a curvature radius larger than that of the middle area 13c of the clip 13 and second arc region 27 arranged continuously from the first arc region 26 and having a curvature radius larger than that of the first arc region 26 in this order from an opposite side of one end is arranged in the one end area 13a of the clip 13. |
