PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a FAXOCR system and a FAXOCR program capable of later identifying a person in charge having performed the check and correction work of text data, in the FAXOCR system and the FAXOCR program for intermediation of communication between a FAX network and a communication network. SOLUTION: An OCR part 311 recognizes numerical numbers or characters included in a FAX received image 301, as received text data. A log-in processing part 313 authenticates a checking and correcting person. A checking and correcting part 312 corrects the received text data according to operation by the checking and correcting person and creates a checking and correcting history to be stored in a checking and correcting history DB 305. The checking and correcting history expresses correspondence between the checking and correcting person having performed the checking and correcting work and a FAX image relating to receive text data subjected to the work.
