A washing machine is provided to reduce the washing time making the contact surface between the laundry and water increase. A washing machine comprises: a tub(110), a water supply pipe(120), a circulating pipe(150), a transfer pipe(130), a pump(140) and a drainpipe(160). The tub stores the water. The water supply pipe is connected to the tub to supply the water to the tub inside. The circulating pipe is connected to the tub, discharges the water to the tub and has a circulating valve(151). The transfer pipe is equipped in the tub to eject the water stored in the tub. The pump is connected to the transfer pipe. The drainpipe is connected to the pump to discharge the water out and has a drain valve(161). |
