PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film having low melt resistivity and high clarity.SOLUTION: A polyester film is produced using a polyester resin obtained by adding a polycondensation catalyst, a magnesium compound, a potassium compound, and a phosphorus compound. The polyester film has melt resistivity at 275°C of 0.15-0.30×10&OHgr;cm and satisfies the following conditions (1) to (3): (1) a content of Mg is 15-35 ppm based on the polyester film; (2) a content of K is 5-20 ppm based on the polyester film; and (3) a content of P is 5-15 ppm based on the polyester film. |
