PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honeycomb structure making the combustion of soot in time of filter regeneration mild.SOLUTION: A honeycomb structure 100 includes partitions 112 forming a plurality of first flow passages 110a and a plurality of second flow passages 110b. In the first flow passage 110a, a first end face 100a side is opened, and a second end face 100b side is sealed. In the second flow passage 110, the first end face 100a side is sealed, and the second end face 100b side is opened. The partition 112 has a standard wall 112a separating the first flow passage 110a and the second flow passage 110b, and a common wall 112b separating two first flow passages 110a adjacent to each other on the first end face 100a. A thickness of the standard wall 112a is larger than a thickness of the common wall 112b. |
