PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily select a frame cut as a still image from a moving image.SOLUTION: A camera signal processing section (103) stores a moving image taken by an imaging element (102) in a frame memory (104). An optical control section (101) outputs a focus evaluation value of an imaging optical system (100). A coding section (105) codes moving image data, and calculates an image quality deterioration degree. A multiplexing section (106) embeds the image quality deterioration degree and the focus evaluation value in a header of coding data obtained by coding, and records them in a recording medium (107). An decoding section (108) decodes the coding data from the recording medium (107). A header analysis section (109) extracts the image quality deterioration degree and the focus evaluation value from the header of the read-out coding data, and an evaluation value calculation section (110) calculates a still image evaluation value based on the extracted image quality deterioration degree and the extracted focus evaluation value. A display section (111) displays a predetermined frame of a reproduced moving image together with the still image evaluation value. |
