One turning ring consists of a cast part (5,8). It has a circular eye and a projecting arm (8), which extends in direction of a dia. of the eye. The end of the arm away from eye has connections (9a,10a), for fastening the turning ring to the associated vehicle. The turning ring is formed, so that the roller bodies of a roller bearing can support themselves on the wall around the eye, via bearing devices. These consist of two parallel stainless steel circular rings, which are pref. at a distance to each other.
