MOUNTING STRUCTURE OF OPENING TRIM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of an opening trim which can easily secure excellent design property even when either full trim structure and semi trim structure is adopted.SOLUTION: A mounting structure of an opening trim 1 in which an opening end 25 of a door in an automobile 20 having a ceiling material 21 and a pillar 22 successively disposed is covered with the opening trim 1, consists of a substantially U-shaped trim part 2 in a cross sectional view which is mountable in the opening trim 1 along the opening end 25 and includes a pair of side parts 7 parallelly extending from a bottom 6 and both ends of the bottom 6 and of a lip part 3 which extends to an outside of one side part 7 from the bottom 6 and which extends so that a tip 10 exceeds a free end 8 on one side part 7. The lip part 3 covers an end facing the opening end 25 of the ceiling material 21 and pillar 22 so as to be the inside of a cabin of the automobile 20.
