PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent sudden rotation of a door handle to the outside of a vehicle at vehicle collision.SOLUTION: A door handle device 1 for a vehicle includes: a door handle lever 2 which releases the engagement between a latch on the door side and a striker on the vehicle body side by the operation of drawing the door handle lever 2 outside of a vehicle; an arm part 3 which is installed on one end side of the door handle lever 2 and inserted from a hole part 23 of a door outer panel 8 into the vehicle inner side to be located on one edge part 24 side of the hole part 23; and a handle base part 12 which is fixed to the other edge part 27 side of the hole part 23 in a state where the tip side of the arm part 3 is rotatably supported by a shaft part 25. The arm part 3 is provided with a projecting part 4 along a surface 24a on the vehicle inner side of the door outer panel 8 on the one edge part 24 side of the hole part 23. The projecting part 4 is projected from the handle base part 12 to the surface 24a on the vehicle inner side of the door outer panel 8, and made to abut against the surface 24a on the vehicle inner side by an inertia force F1 in the outward direction of the vehicle, generated in the door handle lever 2 by an impact at vehicle collision. |
