PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve linearity between an analog signal and a digital signal.SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion apparatus comprises: a plurality of pixels provided in a plurality of columns; a plurality of AD conversion units provided respectively corresponding to the columns; and a correction unit. Each of the AD conversion units converts a signal based on a corresponding pixel into a digital signal at a resolution corresponding to the magnitude of the signal. The correction unit corrects a difference in the resolution.
