PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device, a confidential data management system, and a confidential data management method capable of protecting confidential data even if one of storage media is illegally accessed.SOLUTION: Management information representing volume of each divided confidential data set (30-A, 30-B), which is required when reading each confidential data set (30-A, 30-B) from an external memory 18 and a memory 28, is acquired from a register 26 to read out each of the divided confidential data sets (30-A, 30-B) based on the acquired management information. This makes it difficult for the volume information of the confidential data 30 to be identified even if a system is illegally accessed (or hacked). It also makes it impossible to read the legitimate confidential data 30 even if one of the storage media (either the external memory 18 or the memory 28) is unjustly accessed, suppressing illegal access thereby. |
