<p>The invention relates to a device (1) for inhaling powdery substances (46), in particular of a medical nature, contained in capsules (31), which can be brought into an emptying position by means of a receptacle (A) that can be moved in a flat housing (2), in which position the capsule wall can be pierced by means of movable needles (34) for the purpose of sucking out the capsule content through a mouthpiece channel (5), which extends in axial extension of the capsule chamber (28). According to the invention, in order to further improve a device of the type in question in particular with regard to user-friendly operation and use of the device, the receptacle (A) is designed as a part of the narrow lateral wall (17) of the flat housing (2) that can be pivoted out to a limited extent about an axis (y) and a partial region of the narrow lateral wall plane (E) is designed as a spring-loaded push-button (36) for the needle bearings (35), in such a way that the partial region moves back to the plane (E) of the narrow lateral wall (17) at a maximum.</p> |
