Provided herein are compounds for use in the treatment of neuropathic pain and the neuropathic pain syndromes, in particular the use of imidazotriazinones. Pharmaceutical compositions, single unit dosage forms, and kit suitable for use for the treatment of neuropathic pain and the neuropathic pain syndromes are also disclosed.
