PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both waterproofness and motor cooling performance.SOLUTION: A waterproof cover 4, which closes a gap between an outer peripheral surface of a body housing 11 in an electric motor 1 and an inner peripheral surface of an inner peripheral side annular part 32 in a shroud 3, is disposed at the outer peripheral side of the body housing 11. The waterproof cover 4 prevents or inhibits water from intruding into an inner region 22 of a discoid boss part 21 in a fan 2 through the gap. Further, the waterproof cover 4 is disposed at the outer peripheral side of the body housing 11 and does not cover an end housing 13 where an air intake ventilation port 131 is formed. Thus, the amount of cooling air introduced from the intake ventilation port 131 to the electric motor 1 is increased and the cooling performance of the electric motor 1 is improved. |
