PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information provision system and an information provision method, capable of performing appropriate information notification to a user.SOLUTION: The information provision system includes a wireless LAN access point and an information management device. The wireless LAN access point detects a radio terminal existent in a wireless LAN communication area, to transmit detection information to the information management device. Based on the radio field intensity of a radio packet received from the radio terminal, or a time capable of detecting a radio packet, the information management device allows the wireless LAN base station to notify a radio terminal, identified by the detection information, of notification information corresponding to the wireless LAN access point that transmits the detection information. |
