PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform work of changing the direction of an air cap without removing the air cap from a body.SOLUTION: A coating apparatus includes a body 10 formed with a supply passage of pattern air 14; a paint nozzle 40; a rotatable air cap 30: a pair of pattern air ejection ports 39 ejecting pattern air for forming a paint flow in an atomized state into a flat pattern; locking parts 50 provided in a relative rotation regulated state at the body 10; elastic locking pieces 66 provided in a relative rotation regulated state at the air cap 30 and elastically locked to the locking parts 50; and a nut 40 (a holding means) displaced between a fixing form of fixing the air cap 30 to the body 20 and a rotation permitting form of permitting the relative rotation of the air cap 30 to the body 10 and regulating the detachment of the air cap 30 from the body 10. |
