摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sintered alloy for a valve seat which is increased in solid lubrication property and improved in surface state, and to provide a method for manufacturing a valve seat utilizing the same.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a valve seat includes the steps of: mixing an MnS-containing raw material with an alloy powder for a valve seat including, by weight, 0.8-1.2% carbon (C), 2.0-4.5% nickel (Ni), 3.0-5.0% chromium (Cr), 16.0-20.0% molybdenum (Mo), 9.0-13.0% cobalt (Co), 0.05-0.15% vanadium (V), 0.2-0.8% sulfur (S), and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities; making a first shape body by forming the mixed materials; pre-sintering the formed first shape body; making a second shape body by re-pressing the pre-sintered first shape body; full-sintering the second shape body; and tempering the full-sintered second shape body.
