PURPOSE: A silver nanowire water-soluble ink composition for forming transparent electrode and a transparent electrode formation method using the same are provided to be environmentally-friendly and to enhance storability, light transmittance in visible light area and surface resistance. CONSTITUTION: A silver nanowire water-soluble ink composition for forming transparent electrode comprises 0.05-1.00wt% of silver nanowire; 0.01-5.00wt% of methylcellulose based binder selected from a group comprising methyl cellulose, carboxymethyl cellulose and hydroxypropylmethylcellulose; 0.02-1.00wt% of carboimide resin; and extra portion of water. 0.01-5.00wt% of polyester acrylate complex number dispersing agent and 0.1-5.00wt% of glycerin fatty acid ester are additionally included.
