PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition and a health food containing HS1792 for preventing diseases related to bone mass loss are provided to suppress bone absorption and to reduce the expression of a gene related to osteoclast differentiation, thereby effectively preventing and treating osteoporosis. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating diseases related to bone mass loss contains a compound of chemical formula 1 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. The pharmaceutical composition suppresses the expression of one or more selected among tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase (TRAP), a calcitonin receptor, and cathepsin K.
