PURPOSE: A golf club head and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to form at least one groove which satisfies a thirty-degree rule. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a golf club head comprises the following steps: providing a golf club head including a golf club face; forming a groove and a second part on the golf club face; and operating a groove formation tool from the first end to the second end of the golf club face. The step for forming the groove and the second part comprises the following steps: forming a groove on the golf club head to satisfy a thirty-degree rule; and rotating the grooving tool to form the second part.
