PURPOSE: A UCH-L1 inhibitor has excellent UCH-L1 activation-inhibiting performance, especially for cancer cells, and has low cell cytotoxicity. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating UCH-L1-related diseases contains a compound represented by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, each of R^1 and R^2 is hydrogen, a hydroxy group, a C1-4 linear or branched alkyl group; a C1-4 linear or branched alkoxy group; a carboxy group; an aldehyde group; an azide group; a nitro group; a sodium sulfonate group; a sulfonic acid group; or a substituted or unsubstituted amino group; R^3 is hydrogen or a hydroxy group; R^4 is hydrogen, iodine, a C1-4 linear or branched alkylidenyl group, or an azide group; each of R^5 and R^6 is hydrogen, C1-4 linear or branched alkyl group, or C2-4 linear or branched alkenyl; and R^7 is a C1-4 linear or branched alkyl group or C2-4 linear or branched alkylidenyl group.
