The attachment (1) has a coupling device that is attached with a working arm of a working machine e.g. mini excavator. A wood-splitting device is provided with blade assemblies (4,14) in which blades (6,16,26) are provided. The size of blades and the angle between the side faces of the blades are different. The blade assembly is operated hydraulically, and is provided with different hydraulic cylinders (7,17). A distribution device (8) is controlled by hydraulic pressure, and/or electrically and/or mechanically controlled. An independent claim is included for a working machine.
