METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DYNAMIC UP-LINK RESOURCE ALLOCATION

PURPOSE: A method for dynamic up-link resource allocation in a wireless communication system and an apparatus thereof are provided to select uplink modulation and coding scheme (MCS) table index dynamically by considering the number of users and the amount of uplink resource usage in a base station. CONSTITUTION: A storing unit (330) stores more than one MCS table indices. A control unit (340) normalizes uplink transmission power. The control unit selects one MCS table index among a currently-used MCS table index and more than one candidate MCS table indices. The control unit determines MCS level by using the normalized uplink transmission power and the selected MCS table index.
