PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of seizure as much as possible even when a large thrust load acts.SOLUTION: A differential gear 1 (bearing device) includes: a housing 2 (first member), the surface of which is processed to high roughness; a side gear 4 (second member), the surface of which is processed to low roughness and which is rotated with respect to the first member; and a ring-like differential washer 5 (thrust bearing) held between the housing 2 and the side gear 4. The differential washer 5 is made flat-plate-shaped, a recess is formed on a first sliding surface 5a which is formed on the side of the housing 2, and an opening area of the recess on the first sliding surface 5a is set in the rate of 10 to 50% relatively to an area of the first sliding surface 5a. Thus, the differential washer 5 is slid also with respect to the housing 2. |
