PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap in which, when unsealed, an unsealing history indication band swells outward though the unsealing history indication band is left on a container mouth, so that the unsealing is easily confirmed, a cap body can be attached to a container mouth when sealed again as it is since the unsealing history indication band is left on a container side, and the unsealing history indication band can be removed easily when it is removed.SOLUTION: In a cap composed of a cap body fixed to a container mouth by screw engagement and an unsealing history indication band connected to a lower end of a skirt of the cap body through a plurality of bridges, the unsealing history indication band has a slit from its upper edge to its lower edge, and both the upper edges of the unsealing history indication band in the neighborhood of the slit are provided with the bridges. Ribs that protrude inward are provided in the inner face of the unsealing history indication band so that they hit a lock ring provided to the container mouth that is raised outward, and the bridges are cut. |
