The slide (3) has a slide frame (5) in the form of a rigid or semi-rigid profile with a U-shaped section comprising flat bottom (7) and side walls (8). A flexible strand (6) for lateral guiding of the glass pane is encased in the frame, and includes a core (9) and side flanks (10). The bottom is provided with a notch (14). The strand is provided with a heel (15) projecting on the core, where the heel has a dovetail section. The heel has a base (17) whose width is greater than width of the notch. The heel is received in the notch to ensure maintenance of the strand with respect to the frame.
