PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide tsunami evacuation facilities that enable easy and quick evacuation, securely operate, and take scenery into consideration.SOLUTION: Tsunami evacuation facilities include a cylindrical protective barrier 1 which is provided at the seashore (land) that tsunamis may hit and extends in a vertical direction; a floating body 2 which is provided in the protective barrier 1, and moves up along the protective barrier 1 by buoyancy of seawater; and a boarding portion 3 which is provided to the floating body 2 and on which persons board. A lower-end portion of the protective barrier 1 is located under the ground. The protective barrier 1 is provided with a rectangular arcuate entrance 5 by opening a part of the protective barrier 1. The entrance 5 is provided substantially on a rear side of the protective barrier 1 in a rushing direction of tsunamis. The floating body 2 is formed in a hollow cylindrical shape, and its upper end is the boarding portion 3. |
