PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide type fuel cell suitable for mass production and a method for manufacturing the fuel cell.SOLUTION: A fuel cell according to the present invention comprises a porous metal support, crystallization glass provided on the metal support and having conductivity, and a power generation unit provided on the crystallization glass and consisting of a first electrode, a solid oxide electrolyte, and a second electrode which are each laminated one on another. A fuel cell manufacturing method according to the present invention includes a coating step in which a paste of conductive crystallization glass is applied to the porous metal support, a disposition step in which the power generation unit calcined in advance and composed of the first electrode, the solid oxide electrolyte and the second electrode which are each laminated in that order is disposed on the paste of crystallization glass, and a junction step in which the power generation unit is joined to the metal support by heat treatment. |
