PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing foamed material having excellent flame retardancy while excellent in sealing property, a foamable sealant member for forming the same and a foamable sealant, and a method for sealing a space by using them.SOLUTION: A foamable sealing sheet 1 formed with a foamable sealant including a polymer, a foaming agent and a flame retardant, in which the flame retardant includes 5 to 110 pts.mass of a metal hydroxide and 5 to 110 pts.mass of a halogen-based organic compound based on 100 pts.mass of the polymer, is installed in an engine room or at the inside space of a hollow member 2 arranged at its neighborhood in an automobile, and a sealing foamed material 9 is formed by foaming the foamable sealing sheet 1 to seal the inside space of the hollow member 2 by the sealing foamed material 9. |
