PURPOSE: A graphic application system is provided to help users to accurately apply a predefined spattering pattern to a target surface with a spattering device. CONSTITUTION: A graphic application system includes a surface spattering device(9), a spatial referencing unit(30), a computation means, and a communication means. The surface spattering device includes at least one nozzle means(1) for expelling a spattering material onto a target surface(3), a nozzle control device(4) to control characteristics of the expelling of the nozzle means, and a spattering material supply device(5). The spatial referencing unit references the spattering device in space to determine a position and orientation of the spattering device, particularly, for the target surface in a space. The computation means automatically controls the expelling by the nozzle control device according to information gained by the spatial referencing unit and according to predefined desired spattering data as a CAD-model or a digital image comprising a digital representation of a desired pattern to be spattered onto the target surface. The communication means establishes a communication link from the spatial referencing unit to the computation means to supply the position and orientation to the computation means. |
