PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent mixing, shorten print time, save energy, etc. by effectively utilizing a high-speed mode in a printing apparatus in which a plurality of print jobs can be executed at the same time.SOLUTION: If a high-speed mode is specified for among a plurality of print jobs, every time drawing data corresponding to one page is generated on an image memory 13 based on print data thereof, the data is saved and accumulated in an image memory buffer 15. During this process, for the other print jobs, printing is carried out in a normal mode while generating drawing data in another storage region on the image memory 13. Then, when printing of the other print jobs is finished, the drawing data accumulated in the image memory buffer 15 is collectively printed in the high-speed mode. |
