摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clear image excellent in color reproducibility over a long period of time by developing a stable amount of toner with a carrier which hardly causes toner spent even in a case of high-density printing, causes less peeling of a coating film and further causes less increase in resistance even in a case of low-density printing or a small number of pieces of printing of 1 job.SOLUTION: There is provided a carrier for an electrostatic latent image developer which comprises a core material particle having magnetism and a coating layer for coating the core material particle. The coating layer contains a resin component and a filler, the resin component contains a silicone resin and a resin containing a methacrylic acid ester component or an acrylic acid ester component, the filler has a conductive layer containing at least SnOon the surface of a substrate, and in the XPS analysis of the carrier, Sn is 0.5 Atomic% or more and the Sn/Si ratio is in the range of 0.03 to 0.2.
