PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a framework which is useful for a user to understand individual messages in an appropriate context by displaying a plurality of messages transmitted by different persons together.SOLUTION: Each of a plurality of messages may be associated with individual dialogs, and each dialog has an individual dialog identifier. Each dialog further includes one or a plurality of sets of messages, which share sets of common characteristics satisfying a first predefined standard. A dialog list is displayed in an order to be determined by a second predetermined standard as lines of one set, each line corresponds to one of dialogs to be listed, and includes at least a transmitter list, a dialog topic, and a date/time value. The content of the dialog is displayed when a user selects a dialog from the displayed dialog list. The messages may be displayed in one of three modes, an extension mode, a shortening mode, and a hidden mode. |
