PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of a stepped paper discharge roller which is used in a paper conveying mechanism such as a printer, a facsimile or the like.SOLUTION: A stepped paper discharge roller 10 conveys a paper body in conjunction with a plurality of star wheels 3 which are separately arranged in the width direction of the paper body to be conveyed, and has a rigid shaft body and a resin body covering the shaft body. The resin body integrally includes a plurality of large-diameter parts for gripping and conveying the paper body in conjunction with plurality of respective star wheels 3, and small-diameter regions other than the plurality of large-diameter parts. |
