The present invention relates to an interior permanent magnet motor, wherein a rotor core is disposed in a stator, a plurality of permanent magnets is embedded in the rotor core, and the arrangement structures of first permanent magnets forming N-polarity and second permanent magnets forming S-polarity on the stator are asymmetrical to each other. According to the present invention, the electric motor of a hybrid vehicle can generate sufficient magnet torque and reluctance torque by asymmetrically disposing the first permanent magnets forming N-polarity and the second permanent magnets forming S-polarity so as to make magnetic flux paths different when non-rare earth magnets are used as the material of the permanent magnets.
