PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of the deteriorated operation feeling of a vehicle braking device of a by-wire type.SOLUTION: A device has a first liquid chamber C1 which changes a volume in accordance with a forward/backward moving distance of an input piston 14; a second liquid chamber C2 which introduces liquid pressure from a liquid pressure source 6; a stroke simulator 2 which generates a braking operation repulsive force in accordance with the volume change of the first liquid chamber C1; a sectioning member 17a which sections the first liquid chamber C1 from the second liquid chamber C2; an annular seal member 18; and a movement restricting part 20. In a state that the pressure of the second liquid chamber C2 is lower than pressure generated when a master piston 15a starts moving, an annular seal member 18 is restricted by the movement restricting part 20, and brought into close contact with the first liquid chamber side groove surface of the annular seal groove by generating the space allowing expansion and deformation of the annular seal member between itself and a first liquid chamber side groove surface of an annular seal groove 17b. |
