PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a human body approach detection device which can effectively prevent the occurrence of a malfunction even when transmission and reception of radio wave is performed by a transceiving antenna, can be configured at low cost, and requires no complicated pretreatment.SOLUTION: A human body approach detection device comprises: a plate-like sensor electrode 11 which is arranged close to a wall surface 6a at a side of a door 2 inside a housing 6 of a door handle 4 for a vehicle and changes electrostatic capacity when a human body approaches; a transceiving antenna 19 of an authentication transceiving key which is arranged closed to the wall surface 6b at an opposite side of the door 2 inside the housing 6, parallel to a planar direction of the sensor electrode 11 and used for a keyless entry system; and a main circuit section 20 to detect the electrostatic capacity of the sensor electrode 11. The sensor electrode 11 is arranged, with respect to the transceiving antenna 19, so as to be symmetrically affected by magnetic field generated at the transceiving antenna 19. |
