PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fused and drawn false twisted yarn comprising modified polyester dyeable with a cationic dye, which is capable of developing an appropriate crispy feeling and a dry feeling, as well as flexibility and a high vivid color development property after being dyed, and a fabric obtained from which by combined weaving or interknitting it with other homopolyester fibers or a natural fiber has a cool feeling, and is capable of obtaining a woven or knitted fabric having a novel pattern expression.SOLUTION: A polyester fused and drawn false twisted yarn includes a polyester multifilament dyeable with a cationic dye. In the fused and drawn false twisted yarn, a non-untwisted part 1 twisted in the same direction as a twisting direction and an overly untwisted part 2 twisted in the opposite direction from the twisting direction exist alternately in a longitudinal direction of the yarn. An average length of the non-untwisted part is 3.0 mm to 8.0 mm, and the total fineness of the multifilament is 40 dtex to 85 dtex. |
