PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Hall electromotive force signal detector combining offset cancelling means of a Hall element using a spinning current technique with a continuous-time signal processing circuit.SOLUTION: A first Hall element 13 comprises first to fourth terminals and generates one Hall electromotive force signal voltage Vhall1, and a third Hall element 15 generates the other Hall electromotive force signal voltage Vhall3. A first switching circuit 14 selects a terminal position for passing driving current from among the four terminals of the first Hall element 13, and a third switching circuit 16 selects a terminal position, different from the first switching circuit 14, for passing driving current from among the four terminals of the third Hall element 15. A chopper clock generating circuit 11 supplies chopper clock signals &phgr;1 and &phgr;2 of two different phases to the switching circuit 14, and supplies the chopper clock signals &phgr;1 and &phgr;2 also to the switching circuit 16. |
