PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently generate an image beautifully showing a subject.SOLUTION: An image processing device comprises: a face detection unit that detects a face area from an image; an application amount setting unit that sets an application amount of correction processing on the face area on the basis of an analysis result of the face area detected by the face detection unit; and an image processing unit that performs the correction processing on the face area with the application amount set by the application amount setting unit.
