PURPOSE: A safety ladder of a top-down emergency escape device is provided to allow a user to rapidly evacuate from a multi-floor building by spreading downwards a folding type ladder and moving the ladder to a lower floor when emergency situations such as fire and earthquake happen in the multi-floor building. CONSTITUTION: A safety ladder of a top-down emergency escape device comprises a main frame (100), a cover unit (102), a folding type ladder unit (104), and a decelerator (200). The main frame is installed on the bottom surface of a multi-floor. The cover unit comprises an upper cover (102a) and a lower cover and covers the upper part and the lower part of the main frame. The folding type ladder unit is installed in an inner space unit of the main frame and is spread by descending due to self-load. The decelerator is installed in the inner space unit of the body frame and controls spreading speed of the folding type ladder when the folding type ladder unit is spread. |
