摘要 An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and a repair method for the same are provided to repair a short-circuited TFT(Thin Film Transistor) efficiently without darkening it by arranging plural repair parts, which are not overlapped with a gate line or a gate electrode, at the source electrode of each TFT. An LCD comprises the first substrate, the second substrate, a gate line(102), a data line(103), a gate electrode(106), the first source electrode(104a), the second source electrode(104b), the third source electrode(104c), a drain electrode(107), a pixel electrode(108), and a liquid crystal layer. The first substrate and the second substrate face each other. The gate line and the data line define a pixel area, crossing each other on the first substrate. The gate electrode is formed at the gate line. The first source electrode is protruded from the data line. The second source electrode, protruded from the first source electrode, has the first repair part, which is not overlapped with the gate electrode, and the first electrode part, which is overlapped with the gate electrode. The third source electrode, protruded from the first source electrode, has the second repair part, which is not overlapped with the gate electrode, and the second electrode part, which is overlapped with the gate electrode. The drain electrode is formed between the second source electrode and the third source electrode. The pixel electrode, formed at the pixel area, is connected with the drain electrode. The liquid crystal layer is formed between the first substrate and the second substrate.
