PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical parking device capable of switching a vertical motion/a traverse motion of a pallet while allowing thinning.SOLUTION: In a mechanical parking device 1, a suspension chain 47 and a driven sprocket 48 provided in an underframe 11 and a drive frame 13, respectively, function as moving pulleys in a lifting device 15. Accordingly, chain tension of the lifting device 15 can be reduced and the size of the suspension chain 47 can be made smaller. By the size reduction of the suspension chain 47, a sprocket having a smaller outer diameter can be used, and a direct mount structure in which a drive sprocket 43 is directly mounted on a drive shaft 42 of a drive motor 41 can be attained by miniaturization of a fixing mechanism on one end side of the suspension chain 47 and under service conditions of an allowable overhang load or less of the drive shaft 42 of the drive motor 41 while eliminating a speed reduction mechanism, thereby thinning and simplifying the device 1. |
