PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a bulb type lighting apparatus capable of demonstrating excellent heat radiation characteristics by making a holder plate and a case closely in surface contact to transmit heat rapidly between these.SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing a bulb type lighting apparatus base 10 which has a cylindrical metal case 2 and a metal holder plate 5 which is held in a one end part of the case 2 and mounts a light source, a groove 13 is formed along the periphery direction on the outer circumference of the holder plate 5 and a pressing roll 21 is pressed from the outside in radial direction of the groove 13 with the holder plate 5 insertion engaged in the one end part of the case 2, and the pressing roll 21, the case 2 and the holder plate 5 are relatively rotated along the circumference direction of the case 2 to press in and lock a part of the case 2 with the groove 13. |
