PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge/discharge system having a power storage part capable of being charged from an external power source and discharging to an external load.SOLUTION: A charge/discharge system CDS includes: a power cable 20; a vehicle external control device 37 for charge/discharge; and a vehicle including a power storage part capable of discharging to an external load and being charged from an external power source and a vehicle side control device 12 that controls the discharge from the power storage part to the external load and the charge from the external power source to the power storage part on the basis of a signal appearing at a CPLT terminal of a connector 21. The vehicle external control device includes: a first oscillation device 37a that generates a first signal oscillating at a first frequency; a second oscillation device 37b that generates a second signal oscillating at a second frequency; and a switching device 37c that selectively connects one of the first oscillation device 37a and the second oscillation device 37b to the CPLT terminal. When receiving the first signal through the CPLT terminal, the vehicle side control device starts the charge to the power storage part and when receiving the second signal, the vehicle side control device starts the discharge to the external load.
