<p>PURPOSE: A method for evaluating an applied load of an elastic rod is provided to accurately measure the applied load of the elastic rod and to enable to exclude possibilities of malfunction caused by the skill of an evaluator. CONSTITUTION: A method for evaluating applied load of an elastic rod is as follows. An integral area of a displacement-load diagram including a nonlinear change section is converted into an area obtained using an elasticity characteristic curves only so that the load is obtained.
