TERMINAL INSERTION FORWARD STOP

An electrical connector housing including a terminal receiving channel and a deflectable terminal locking finger. The terminal receiving channel is adapted to receive an electrical terminal. The channel is configured to have the terminal longitudinally inserted into the channel from a rear end of the housing. The deflectable terminal locking finger projects into the channel. The finger includes a projection configured to snap into a window of the terminal when the terminal is inserted into a final inserted position in the channel. The finger includes a rearward stop feature and a forward stop feature. The rearward stop feature is configured to engage a front side of the window to prevent rearward withdrawal of the terminal from the final inserted position. The forward stop feature is configured to engage a rear side of the window to stop forward insertion of the terminal past the final inserted position.
