PURPOSE: A mattress support and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to lighten the weight, to enable easy manufacturing and transport, and to reduce labor, thereby reducing manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a mattress support comprises the steps of: cutting a corrugated cardboard to form a plurality paper partition walls of a honeycomb type; attaching outer surface paper on the honeycomb surface of the cut corrugated cardboard; adhering a support plywood consisting of a plurality of cut plywoods on the surface of the outer surface paper; mounting a female support member at a repairing portion of the support plywood attached on one side of the corrugated cardboard; attaching a coating fabric to the outer surface of the corrugated cardboard; and displaying a site for installing the female support member on the coating fabric.
