PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire having excellent lightweightness without degrading steering stability, wear resistance and durability.SOLUTION: A pneumatic radial tire includes a carcass, a tread portion, and a belt consisting of at least two belt layers. Reinforcing members of the first and second belt layers are bundles of two non-twist cords. When the entire filament diameter is denoted by a (mm), a spacing between the adjacent bundles is increased by ≥a/4 (mm) as the expected value from a spacing between circumscribed circles. At least a part of the bundles have a bundle spacing in which a spacing from the adjacent bundle is increased by ≥a/4. A spacing between the first and second belt layers is denoted by A, a distance between an inner surface end in a tire radial direction of the cords of the first belt layer and an inner surface of the first belt layer is denoted by B, and a distance between an outer surface end in the cord tire radial direction of the second belt layer and an outer surface of the second belt layer is denoted by C, respectively. Inequalities A/2<B, and A/2<C are satisfied, and an inter-belt rubber having a thickness of <1.0 mm is arranged at an end of the second belt layer. |
